T/D not quite right.

Hello,

 

I have seen lately that the Top of Decent point in the PMDG 737 is a bit late. Causing me to get "Destination path unachievable" a lot from the FMC.and going over 250kts. under 10,000ft.

 

I usually use a cost index of 25-35. And reserve of 5.0. And my normal cruiz alt. is above FL300.

 

Anyone have any ideas?

Descent winds forecast haven't been entered, and the aircraft is assuming a 0kt tailwind.
you have more than 0 knots tail wind and no headwind.

Yep.  Usually this has to do with not giving the plane the information is wants/needs.

 

First, I'd recommend watching this:
