Campbell River scenery help

Recommended Posts

I downloaded the new Campbell River scenery made by Don Grovestine (cybl_202.zip) and I have a problem with it and I am hoping someone can help.

During dusk, dawn, and night the scenery crashes. Anytime during the day everything works fine. I had his pervious version installed and I did not have any problems at all. Everything works fine with the default scenery too. Any ideas what could be wrong??

Same problem here. My windows log says "Faulting module: SIM1.DLL. I don't think I've ever had that one before. No idea how to solve this at the moment.

It's weird because I have his Boundary Bay scenery too and I could not use the old version because it crashed just like the new Campbell River scenery. But the new version of Boundary Bay (czbb_202.zip) works fine and the Campbell River scenery is now not working..

I was able to load up CYBL successfully at both dusk and night when I disabled some of the AI traffic files. I will do some more testing to see if I can identify the culprit.

EDIT: Following some testing, I found that removing the file "Traffic_CYBL_TankerBase_FS9.bgl" from the CYBL\scenery folder solved the crashing of FS9. I will relay this information to the author.

So for me it's a different problem because I didn't install those custom AI files.
