My all-time favorite approach----CYTZ (Toronto Centre)

Just shot the approach and landing into Toronto City Centre, at dusk....and let me tell ya....

 

in XPX.30b5, and custom-to-the-hilt from the Org, CYTZ and Toronto Skyline scenery/CYYZ scenery and the G.T.A (Greater Toronto Area) scenery, with XPX settings red hot....it is one of the most beautiful and immersive approaches one can fly in ANY flight simulator.

 

Again, there is NOTHING on this planet...present, or past, that can render dusk/dawn/full night approaches...and dish it out to the eyeball, as XPX.30b5 can....when option sliders are bending under the strain, lol!

 

It was a challenge to keep acting like the P.I.C.,and not wanting to sit back as a passenger, and take it all in over a wing-view.

Just flew it in the Majestic Q400 on the weekend (FSX of course).  Nice approach.  Done it in real world once as a pax on Porter.

I want to fly 30b SO bad, but a few of my plugins barf with it so I am relegated to X.25 for now.

Of the little time I have flown .30b, it was amazing.. SO much eye-candy with zero frame rate hit. Can't wait for the beta to be over so the plugin companies will offer support/fixes for what is broken.

I did shoot some pics of the approach about two or so months ago...look for some of my posts with pics in them...and you should strike gold, lol.

In the CYTZ link...read to the very bottom of the page..and GRAB EVERYTHING recommended!  INSTALL, INSTALL....INSTALL!   Go fly...and be blown away.....

For sure, grab SEA-TRAFFIC and you will get the Island Ferry Service, animated and going to and from the Toronto Islands. You can watch them and enjoy as you approach, and then taxi in....  There's even a Ferry that services the airport. Look North of the terminal...and you will see it dock...depart...depends...what a blast!
