Deactivate on old pc then reactivate on new?

Recommended Posts

I need to install FSX on a new PC. I expect that I will get a failure when I try to activate on the new machine. Is there a way to deactivate first? I expect that I will spend a lot of frustrating time if I install, try to activate, then have a failure. Anybody else dealt with this?

I've changed mine over 4 times without any issues.

I have moved FSX between several computers without ever having a problem.

Worst case scenario is you have to call Microsoft for a manual activation.
