ATI Crossfire still possible?

Recommended Posts

Seems there are plenty of posts on the NET saying Crossfire does not work with Windowed games.

LM was talking about getting Crossfire working with P3DV1 which had a Full Screen mode.

But where does that now leave P3DV2 which has gone permanently Windowed?

Thanks,

gb.

Ok found this over at LM from Zach Heylmun:

"Unfortunately AMD simply disables crossfire when an application is running in windowed mode. We have been in contact with AMD, and they simply don't support crossfire when applications are not in Exclusive full-screen mode, which we don't support in order to provide a more consistent experience in multi-monitor / multi-window environments. Until AMD driver support improves there is very little we can do to improve the situation."
