FPS on ground

Hello everyone!

Without beating around the bush, I've got a little problem.

My FPS is low when I approaching/landing/TO                In the sky it's running brilliant.

 

My PC specs:

- AMD FX-6300 (4.1GHz)

- 8 GB RAM (DDR3, Kingston)

- Geforce Gigabyte GTX650 overclocked to 2GB

 

So I think, my PC isn't bad.

Things that affect  FPS on the ground may be vehicle traffic, AI traffic, aircraft labels.

 

At airports like KSFO and KLAX I have horrible FPS but at altitude its spectacular, even with

 

my system specs.

I wonna tell only that the decrease in FPS is when I'm flying jets, no GA(slower).

Perhaps it has to do with the rendering scene?

If you want good (not spectacular) performance on the ground at one of the good pay ware airports like KLAX, CYVR, etc and a bit of aircraft traffic around you, you are going to need a fairly late generation Intel/Nvidia combo.

He means that you need to add you pc  details in your signature block ,and other  details. It will save you next  time in saying  what you have  in the next post you make.  You havnt mentioned  what fps your getting at  the airports,

 

 Got a similar  set up as yours  using  a amd radeon 7900 series   and getting  between 16 to 20  at payware airports on the ground using the t7 with most of my setting  to max  except for  auto gen which is set  to 3/4  and my utc  traffic set to 70 percent. (My fps is locked at 30)  My fsx cfg hasn't been tweaked at all  just the highmen fix added  and the wide view= true   nothing  else.  pc isn't  o/ceed  just standard  So cant  see why you cant  get  the same  as well.

If you are having issues with FSX, I wouldn't even think about Prepar3d.  Have you tried running FSX in DX10.  It performs better on some systems. There are other issues, but many can be addressed.
