Flight Toolkit - 1.0.0

Recommended Posts

I've updated the Flight Toolkit with new features to enable saving your pilot profile to disk.  This will ensure that if the GFWL servers go down that you won't lose any of your progress.  To use this feature just run Addon Manager while Flight is running.  It will automatically connect to Flight and periodically save the profile to disk.  You will see the red X in Addon Manager change to green after it saves for the first time.

This also includes some other changes, fixes, and new tools.  These new tools are related to scenery production, but are in alpha and unsupported for now.  I'm still developing them and hope to eventually get to a point where some scenery can be created for Flight or converted from FSX.

Steve, you've given this game more than just a second chance! Thanks for your efforts, and I can't wait to see what this version will give us!

Thanks a bunch stonelance, I have saved this to both my Flight machines. One always seems to track what ever the other has done in Flight. Silly question, how do you run the addon manager when Flight is already running? Do you just have to minimize the game and open the manager?

Ok, that works. Red to green.

Where is the save location, and how can i extract it?

The new version of the add-on manager says i have all aircrafts installed, but i have none of the cockpitless warbirds.

You don't need to extract anything. Launch the Addon Manager, minimize it, and then run Flight. It will save your profile data to your Hard Disk. The aircraft installations still works for me, try re-installing the aircraft(s) that does not appear in Flight.

On a different note....

Stone, can I report any problems to you through the Flight Toolkit support e-mail?

I ran it and I can't find it anywhere. Where would it be?

@ stonelance

First off, I would like to express my greatest appreciation for your ongoing work that is helping to keep Flight alive!

I have downloaded and installed the latest toolkit. I run the Addon Manager first before starting Flight.

Are we required to do this each time before starting Flight, or does it automatically update hereafter?

Again, THANK YOU ever so much!
