Power Supply for GTX 780 SLI

I'm looking at my options to eventually use two gtx 780 SLI.  "Requirements: Minimum of a 600 Watt Power supply. (Minimum recommended with a +12 volt current rating of 42 Amps.)"

 

I read this about my psu's power output:  Max combined 75 amps between the rails.

Is the current PSU not going to be good enough for SLI with the available amps?

That makes me feel better, but I had forgotten to add that the proc is a 2700k @ 4.9 GHZ, which I figure is about 200 watts at full load.  With the H80 pump, hard drives, other fans, and miscellany, I'm adding in another 50-100 watts for good measure.  I'm estimating 500+ for the gpus.  The psu is over 2 years old and has been used mostly 24/7, never under substanstial load, but almost always on.  I realize the specs still leave some overhead, on paper, but I don't know if I should be concerned about degradation of it's capacity.

I just went through this and upgraded my Corsair AX850 to an AXi1200.  I had not done 3-way SLI with my 760's before, just 2-way and used the 3rd for PhysX, and it was OK.  However, it struggled with the 3-way SLI for some reason.  Your 1000w PSU should be ok, though.

Augh!  No.  One card wants to remain unrecognized and the fan on the card runs at 100%.  Updated drivers and BIOS, rolled back same, I swear, nothing works correctly since new drive installation and P3D.  Aarrrgh!

 

On a better note, ASUS ROG may be sending me a beta Haswell-E board and choice of processor for testing in late Aug...

You can pickup an EVGA 1300G2 that's rated at the very top; right next to Corair's AX lineup for only $195. You can read up on the reviews on the Web; but if you're going to pick up a 1K PSU, you won't find a better power supply for the money with a 10 year warranty too.

EVGA sells custom braided and colored PSU cables as well. I own the PSU. It's been very reliable:
