There is an identical post in forum P3D, but I think P3D1.4 version is only sold "as is"

Why aren't you using P3D V2.2

What's 1.4? You mean 2.4? Wow can't wait............

:-)

I refer to version 1.4 before V2, I have both versions installed.

Version 1.4 runs fine on my system, the performance is superior, the image quality is also higher

In version 2.2 the error that showed not happen.

"the image quality is also higher"

Hello Richard

V2 has advantages that we all know, unfortunately on older computers and especially for those using ATI video things get a little complicated.

P3DV2 not accept RadeonPro, we used to have more features ATI driver, then AA is not satisfactory and the aircraft are not as sharp as in FSX or P3D1.4.

In my modest system, Phenom II X6 2.8ghz, 8GB RAM, ATI 6950 2GB P3D1.4 and FSX run fairly well, to use the REX 4 Direct, which incidentally improves some textures and gain FPS, but with my hardware did not think of using something like global FTX or more.

I can use good aircraft, PMDG NGX, Airbus Xtended, A2A Cherokee are some examples.

For those who already used Flight Simulator on 286 computers, what we have today is wonderful, if my aircraft work well glad they are my passion.

The StackHash crash can be fixed by one of the fixes suggested in the AVSIM CTD Guide as documented by others in the CTD Forum. P3D and FSX are almost exactly the same applications. The exception code 0374 indicates a heap corruption. On page 3 of the AVSIM CTD Guide, there is a suggestion to increase heap limitation and a link to Microsoft to fix it.

The AVSIM CTD Guide can be found at the right of any AVSIM Forum under Hot Spots.

Hello Jim

I tried several solutions including Fixit50496 but the error remains.

This is the most detailed report of AppCrashView, maybe you see the lake on it.

Thank you.

Remove the uiautomationcore.dll from your main P3D folder. It does not fix crashes like some say it fixes for FSX. Most likely this is your problem.

During your investigation of your crash(es), did you disable all of the addon scenery? Did you move the P3D.cfg to a temporary folder, restart P3D, and let P3D rebuild the config? Did you disable all of the modules in the dll.xml and exe.xml?

I see only Microsoft.net 4.0 was loaded during this session. If you installed any FSX addon into P3D, it might use other versions as Microsoft.net framework programs are not backward compatible. The AVSIM CTD Guide provides information on verifying you have all of the proper ones installed.

Best regards,

Hello Jim

UIAautomationcore.dll not exist in P3D and FSX folders, I downloaded the recommended version yesterday, but did not change anything, has already been removed.

During attempts to solve I did remove and reinstall P3D after removing deleted all known traces, folders, referring to P3D, resettlement and the first run was made, the error already exists.

Do not use third-party scenarios, only one airport that I created in ADE, but also removed and the error remains.

I installed the recommended management tool scenarios in CTD guide, she spotted a duplicate key in scenery.cfg, the last key appeared duplicated 125, the 126 would be correct, was repaired by me in C: \ ProgramData \ Lockheed Martin \ Prepar3D and also in C: \ Users \ Joao Alfredo \ AppData \ Roaming \ Lockheed Martin \ Prepar3D.

There exe.xml in P3D1.4, I found this file in the folder where the SDK, and there is a note about it.

If the problem is in dll.xml, a new installation it does not occur, I'm sure.

I'll post a note on exe.xml, the contents of dll.xml, and the latest report error generated a few minutes without UIAautomationcore.dll in P3D folder.

About exe.xml

The SimConnect.xml and SimConnect.ini files located in this dir are examples of

data files that are used to configure the Prepar3D SimConnect system. These two files are not

needed to use SimConnect under normal circumstances. By default, SimConnect client addons that

run on the same machine as Prepar3D will work without either of these two files needing to be

present.

The SimConnect.xml file contains config parameters for the SimConnect communications layer.

This file is placed in the "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D"

directory - the same directory where the Prepar3D.cfg file is located. This file does not need to be

present if the SimConnect system is used in the default configuration that supports all SimConnect

clients that are running on the same machine that Prepar3D is running on. Only if it is desired to have

SimConnect clients running on other machines than the one running Prepar3D, is a SimConnect.xml file

needed.

The SimConnect.ini file contains config parameters for the SimConnect diagnostic system. This file

is placed in the "My Documents\Prepar3D Files" directory. This file only needs to be present

if the user wants to examine the SimConnect diagnostic output data; it is not needed otherwise.

The DLL.xml and EXE.xml files are examples of the configuration files that are used to

specify addon code that is launched or loaded by Prepar3D when it starts. These files are

placed in the "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D" directory - the

same directory where the Prepar3D.cfg file is located.

UIAautomationcore.dll not exist in P3D and FSX folders, I downloaded the recommended version yesterday, but did not change anything, has already been removed.

So, how come it was loaded as Module 171 in Post #10? Are you saying you just removed it after I brought it to your attention? Apologize for the communications failure.

So, since you removed the uiautomationcore.dll from the main p3d folder, you now have a crash caused by the ntdll.dll (more info about probably fixes for this type of crash in the AVSIM CTD Guide. Most likely a bad overclock (if you are overclocked). It all falls in line with the infamous MyTrafficX schedules crashes too. One time you will get a StackHash faulting module and the next time it will be the ntdll.dll module. The only way to find out if your overclock is bad (if applicable) is to load the optimal defaults in the motherboard's BIOS.

To disable any module in the dll.xml, simply change the second line for each module as follows - <Disabled>False</Disabled> change this to <Disabled>True</Disabled>. Now none of those modules will load and you can see if one of them caused your problem. If the crashes go away, you'll have to enable them one at a time to find out which one is the bad guy.

I see you use Bull Guard Anti-virus program. I hope you had it disabled before you installed P3D and I hope you had UserAccessControls (UAC) disabled too especially since you installed the program in the default location (versus C:\P3DV2) that some computer experts recommend installing P3DV2. I personally have mine in my default folder like yours and have had no problems. I don't use an anti-virus program and I did disable UAC and I ran the installation program as an Administrator. Make sure your anti-virus program did not quarantine any files during the installation. If so, you'll have to do a complete reinstall. Anti-virus programs also prevent required registry entries from being made. (This is less likely your problem though but wanted to bring it to your attention).

Not sure why you provided the info about the exe.xml and the SimConnect.xml from the SDK....

Best regards,

Hello Jim

In post # 10 UAIautomationcore.dll was still in P3D folder but not last post.(#12)

Do not use OC, then we can rule out a bad overclock, I disabled the modules in dll.xml, the error remains, also deleted p3d.cfg was redone but the error remains.

BullGuard has option to exclude scanning the folders or applications in real-time engine, a query that was made to support before buying, already predicting it could cause problems in my simulators.

I passed on the information about the file exe.xml, did it because you mentioned dll.xml and exe.xml not found exe.xml with dll.xml and did search for it on my computer, I found the information and found what could be the cause of the error then passed the information, I did not do it out of malice.

I appreciate your effort, but I'll try to stop the problem, I can live with it, maybe some other time when formatting my SSD and have a new installation of Windows will solve.

My thanks.

João Alfredo
