FSDT KJFK v2 question

I ordered and installed fsdt (having paid for the product). When I set my plane at a starting gate I get a message the jfk trial period begins.All buildings are present. At about 5 mins later, i get a message that the trial period has ended, and all buildings disappear, with exception of jet ways. any advice?

Yes, enter your registration within Addon Manager as your still in demo mode.

when i load the airport and it says start of trialperiod, i enter registration code with addon mgr. I'm then told that software is activated, but does not exist in scenery files. when i check the scenery library, it is checked off. still the program stays in demo mode for a few mins then terminal disappear

This is important. Whenever you install products from FSDT or Flightbeam, you must re boot computer after install and entering registration. Have you done that ?

I did the following:

 

1. uninstalled KJFK v2

2. Uninstalled addon mgr

3. Reinstalled both

4. Rebooted

5. When trial began I entered registration #

 

Buildings appeared, but after about 5 minutes the buildings disappeared.

 

ps. i then tried to restart coati, but bldgs flashed on and then off.

 

any ideas please?

Rob, got to FSDT web site and download "Stand alone manager " and install as admin. That should fix any issues with the addon manager etc.

or better still post your issue  at the fsdt forum where you will get your issue  fixed,  as Virtuali has explained many  times  if you got issues  with our product post in  our forum since  he  cant spend going to every forum checking issues

well quick update. I uninstalled, then installed stand alone manager, and when I downloads the airport my norton 360 said it was a virus.  I'm worried to try to load it again.

There's a lot of topics and posts in the FSDT Forum about anti-virus programs and false positives. There's info in the installation manual too.
