Memory optimizer vs. FS AutoStart "Defragment Memory"

Recommended Posts

I am not sure what memory optimizer does for FS9, but FS Autostart allows you to both optimize your available memory and you to load FS9 high in memory. With FS Autostarts capability to stop/re-start system programs and its ability to load high, it makes it one of the best addons to FS9 that is out there today.Tom

Just a little bit more "speed". Gives your FS9 application a higher process priority. Also, I failed to mention, that FSAutoStart can be configured to support other applications. That is it is not limited to FS9. You can taylor it to other games or applications that need additional processing power. You can download FSAutoStart from AVSIM. After downloading the program, read the manual carefully. You need to understand the process of stopping and restating your applications properly prior to running the program. Overall, it is an easy program/application to master.Tom

I dunno, but all this talk about "high", "loaded", and "speed" is interesting. I used to hear the same thing around Big Sur back in 1968.Doug
