Warsaw to Birmingham( UK)

Just a few shots of the short hop from Warsaw to Birmingham( UK)...Very eventful weather on approach ASN brings the best depiction there is...Very Impressed - the 777 was being tossed all over the place on approach, with thunderstorms in the area, and was quite a bumpy landing...Enjoy

 

 

Nice and sunny lined up on RW33 ready to go..

Heavy rain in the upper cloud layers

 

Traffic a 9 o' Clock..

 

Clear of traffic.. Virgin A343

....and the mood of the clouds has changed...

 

Even more grey with Thunderstorms on approach..

 

On Approach

 

The clouds look mean and they were, tossing the 777 all over the shore. Thunderstorms flashing violently..

 

Finals and some AI came out of nowhere...AI ended up going around due to traffic on the RW Cleared for RW33 as well

 

Gear down Flaps 30

 

And touchdown... I'm just glad I got the thing down given the weather..

How do you get the outside shots of landing while flying the plane from the VC?  Playback? 

 

Fsrecorder my friend, dont like taking shots on finals...prefer to replay the flight back from approach and take shots.
