Cirrus around Duluth

Recommended Posts

I really prefer the shadowing in P3D, the views get a bit dark with HDR enabled but they're ok.

Anyway the Carenado Cirrus flying around Duluth, MN

Nice pics! Does the terrain slope down to the lake in fsx or do you have a add on mesh?

Been up there once to bus training years ago, sheesh time flies, whats happened to the hanger? Best thing while there were the ANG F-16's ripping out. B)

I assume Cirrus is still there.

It sort of slopes down... I think I bought FSG mesh for FSX to make it look better.  I don't have any scenery stuff except Orbx for P3D yet.

Yep the old NWA hangar as we call it is still there - it was leased by Cirrus for a little while for their jet program.  They left that because of funding, got bought out by Chinese, but now resuming jet production in their own facility on the south side of the field.  Now AAR uses it to maintenance Air Canada airbuses.

F-16's are definitely still around....  though not flying as much as they used to - I've worked ATC for 7 years there and F-16's never get old!
