None of those modules are duplicates. No known solution to the PMDG_737NGX.DLL CTD. Check the trusted section of your FSX.cfg and make sure the module has been trusted. If it was trusted, then try deleting that entry in the trusted section, restart fsx and you should be given the opportunity to trust the module again. You should also make sure FSX is run by Administrator. You will have to find fsx.exe in the main fsx folder and right click it, select properties, and click on the compatibility tab. Look down at the Privilege Level and then make sure "Run this program as an administrator" is checked. If not, then click on "Change settings for all users" and check the box. Click apply and exit. If this is not successful then you will have to go to the PMDG website and submit a support ticket. If you ever find out the solution to your problem, please share it with everyone here in the CTD Forum. Many members have submitted support tickets but never furnished information on how their problem was fixed. There are indications that PMDG has not figured out how to fix this problem too. This is why I think it is a sharing issue with your system.

Jim as you know i have just installed fsx and done a complete reinstall of OS 7 thankfully haven't had any nasty stack hash kernel etc since doing this. HAPPY DAYS but lets not speak to soon but i am CONFIDENT.

Slowly working through nicks bible to tweak OS7 :)

And i will apply your settings above as i haven't done this jim.

Will i also share that folder? Not sure how to do that?

I have been searching on the net most topics the OP hasn't replied back with a yes or no SOLUTION its typical and i will report back any findings.

Like always on this CTD forum its always you doing the hard work and replying most topics i have seen alot don't bother replying back.

Can i set run as admin for all my addons jim?

Jim i found the problem this is really weird my crash happened earlier when i loaded up the pre saved tutorial 2 the one called visual approach yeh and when i pressed the saitek button on my throttle to arm spoilers it crashed.

So just now i loaded the same saved flight pressed that button and guess what? Crash the exact same faulting module.

I tried the same button in a normal flight infact all the buttons no crash!!!

I then tried the other saved flights.....no crash !!!!

Loaded back up visual approach CRASH

visual approach yeh and when i pressed the saitek button on my throttle to arm spoilers it crashed.

Don't use the Saitek button on your throttle and instead hit shift+/ to arm the spoilers. Obviously there is a conflict and you'll have to work that problem out separately.

So just now i loaded the same saved flight pressed that button and guess what? Crash the exact same faulting module.

I heard there are problems when you load saved flights. Do not load saved flights as obviously not everything is being saved, especially when it involves an addon, a complicated addon like PMDG, and, when you try to bring the flight back up again, it cannot find a module and crashes. So that is not possible. If you had it in a saved folder from several installations ago, not everything in that saved flight may be loaded after you reinstall. You might have reinstalled in different directories too and the saved flight cannot find the items anymore. Result - CTD.

I cannot help you when you have stuff you saved on your computer. No one else has it so it is hard to duplicate. I would set up another visual approach and try saving that one. There's a neat program I use to fly visual approaches and approaches in heavy weather so I don't have to save any of my flights to practice. It's called FS Instant Approach.

All buttons are fine if i don't load that flight up and even unassigned it then re-assigned it with something else and it works fine.

Also jim my stack hash ctd before my windows re-install came from me loading up those tutorial 2 saved flights.

I won't be using them again. Ok i'll check it out or like you said i'll save them myself.

Wasn't this fixed earlier by changing HIGMEMFIX=1 to HIGHMEMFIX=1?

Oh sorry, this is another problem! Yes I was going to suggest that if HIGHMEMFIX=1 has such a dramatic effect as you found in your earlier post, you would most likely have an entirely more serious problem. Which I suppose this is. Just a thought.

I hope it's OK Vernon. Just thinking out loud; I've seen that caused by scenery and config errors. Any more problems let me know what the airports are you're using for the CTD flight. Steve
