Top Cat Configuration Issue

Recommended Posts

I am having an issue when going into Top Cat in order to add my PMDG 777 aircraft.

When I click on the aircraft tab and then add aircraft in the drop down box this aircraft is not present for some reason.

Could anyone suggest where I am going wrong as this aircraft is obviously in my FSX file.

I previously set up the PMDG NGX 737 which is still in there.

Any help would be appreciated please.

Hi Michael,

I think I have the solution to your problem..........Open Topcat Click on aircraft Click on Add then on the left hand side you will see Aircraft cfg file and the word None in the box Now click on Browse and go to your Local Disk © Double click on program files (86) or where you keep FSX then d/click on Microsoft games then d/click on Microsoft flight Sim folder find simobjects d/click on that then on Airplanes then click on your PMDG 777 then on the cfg file open it a box will open showing your 777 aircraft  Save it and that will put the aircraft into Topcat.......

HI,Thanks for your replies.

I have watched Froogle Pete's video but the problem that I am having is that when I click on 'Type' and then get the dropdown box the Boeing 777 is not one of the aircraft listed.

I understand about the browse button and bringing up the cfg file but the problem is the non existance of the PMDG 777 in the drop down box.

I am obviously  missing a trick here somewhere.

Further help/comments would be appreciated.

Are you using the latest 2.74 Beta release of TopCat? That is the only version that includes the T7 as an option.
