Default B737-400 - Panel

Hi Bryan,I did a search for another panel, but it only turned up 1 sample; that was by Targan Unytmaz, quite a nice panel except that several gauges were missing, even though I d/l an Update. However, I was trying to get this panel to work, when I sudden thought struck me; having read Maury Pratt's superb review of the FS2Crew program, perhaps I should keep the default B737 panel because I am going get FSCrew in the next couple of days. Reading Maury's review I think the default panel (which I am very familiar with) would give me less problems with hitting the right buttons?Thanks for your reply, maybe I'll catch up with you again in the next couple of days; with your other hat on :)KenSomerset, England

Hello Ken,You can use the Default Version of FS2Crew with other freeware aircraft provided the panels on those aircraft conform to FS9 SDK programming conventions. The majority of them do.A lot of people think the Default Edition of FS2Crew only works with the Default 737. That's not true. FS2Crew includes instructions on how to add FS2Crew to other 737's out there (with the exception of the PMDG, which has its own separate version of FS2Crew).Cheers, Bryan

Hi Bryan,Thanks for clarifying the B737 situation, I was under the impression that FS2Crew only worked with the Fs9 default aircraft. Having d/l the program I think I'll stick to the default 737 until I can get my new crew to speak more slowly.Many thanks again for your help,KenSomerset, England
