Can FS 2004 and FS 2002 run on the same hard drive?

Hi All,I've been installing FS 2004 for the first time here over the last couple of days and have had a frustrating time doing so. I keep getting an error message during the disk 1 installtion that reads:"Set-up failed to extract files from D:/MSGAME1.CAB This is most likely caused by low memory(low disk for swapping files) or a corrupted cabinet file. Please restart your machine and run set-up again."Well I've done this 10 times and I still get the same message. I have 1GB of memory and a 256MB graphics card. The only thing I can think of is that I'm running FS2002 still on the same hard drive. Has anyone else had this problem or shed some light?Thanks,BrianKPHX

I did it for quite some time. If you are using a different install CD drive mapping there might be a conflict.I even have some scenery files that are compat with both in a common library folder. Same with add-on apps that can be used by both (but might require path changes in their fie location preferences).The failure to locate a cab file could be a defective CD. Open that CD in explore mode (with the show all file extensions and show all files enabled in Explorer options) to see if it is on your CD which I assume is D:.

I have only one hard drive and I have FS2000, FS2002, and FS9, all with full installations and no problems.
