777-300 With Trent 800S And Older P&w And Ge-90S

Recommended Posts

I can't say about the straight -200 or -300, but I think the -200ER is the most likely, if any other 777 variants come later. As for the 777X, the 777X isn't set to enter service until 2020, and it will be at least 5-7 years before performance data satisfies the requirements for PMDG to develop a product.

I don't think there are actual 773 with PW/GE engines built, even they are offered as an option

ANA and Korean are using the 773 with PW engines.

I for myself would love to see the 773 come together with the -200ER series as already mentioned they all sharing the same engine type (PW, RR and GE). Sure the rating is different but I think the main part is to get the model and the sounds. Everything else is coding which is also the hardest part I think.

Can you imagine spooling up those PW or RR engines in the -200ER . Or to say it in todays language: "Dat sound"

You forgot the "tho" or "doe..." haha

Dat sound tho!!!

To me, the coolest thing is when the UAL PW 777s spool at asynchronous rates and you hear the beats between the two notes.
