Fatal Error After Exiting Fsx With Pmdg 777 Sp1

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

After installing SP1, and running it for one flight, then installing the 300ER, I started getting a fatal error message after exiting FSX.

There are no issues with flying the airplane. Everything works beautifully. Once I get the fatal error, it will restart FSX with the default

aircraft. I will exit again and it will do so with no problem.

I'm running ASN and EZDOK camera.

Thanks for any ideas

regards

Doug

Try closing ASN before you shut down/end flight FSX...

i am seeing the same here. did not happen prior top SP1 and the -300.

HIFI Sim actually says not to shut down ASN before FSX is closed, so i am not sure this is the solution.

Same thing here, although it does not happen every time.  I do not have ASN.

Guys,

Do the following for us please:

1. Go to the start menu and type "problem" into the search box - click "Choose how to report problems" when it appears as a search result.

2. Select the third option "Each time a problem occurs, ask me before checking for solutions" and press OK.

3. Now reproduce the crash and this time when the window pops up, there should be a small arrow at the bottom, press it and it will show you the detailed crash information.

4. Click in the detailed area and press Ctrl+C to copy the data.  Paste it into a reply with Ctrl+V.

I did shut down ASN before FSX and I did not get the crash.

I've been getting a 'fatal error' from FSX after exiting for years. Never could pin-point it to a single thing. It doesn't seem to affect my FSX install at all so I haven't been too worried about it.

I just did a short flight in the 300ER with out ASN and I did get the fatal error again.

I do not recall getting the crash with the 200LR. Is anyone else getting the crash with the 200LR ?

Same problem here, only after SP1.  Happens with and without ASN active.  Just loaded the aircraft at EDDP, programmed the FMC for a route for another day when I have time, exited and crashed.

If you guys do not have Fsuipc installed yet, then try that.

Fixed it for me and has been confirmed by PMDG that FSUIPC can help in some cases!

I have the unregistered version installed.  Never really understood that programme but presummed that nobody can use FSX with any addons unless it was installed, please correct me.  This issue is just for info, it is not a problem for me at all and I can easily live with the error message when exiting.

Cheers

Iain

I had a pretty much virgin FSX install that requred it.

Only addon was PMDG777 and it would CDT on exit.

With the registered version of the latest (I think latest is important for the PMDG777) FSUIPC version installed that CDT problem is history.

I hsve since then added other thing to FSX and no CDTs.

Ps FSUIPC is only required for some addons.

Not all.

But update it please and see what happens!
