Saitek Radio Panel

Recommended Posts

My Saitek radio panels arent working properly. When changing the frequencies from the VC, the radios follow along, but the other way around, nothing happens.

I found a post explaining this problem, but that was over a year ago, with Majestic replying that it would be addressed to during/after the 2 other versions would be done. Since this is the case and this being quite a prominent problem, I cant imagine that after more than a year, there wouldnt be a fix.

I already googled for it, but I cant find anything at all, besides that one post on this forum, what makes me think the problem should be gone, with no one mentioning it anymore.

Would there be something I can do to fix this, or is there some patch I havent seen that fixes this?

Cheers!

Maarten

I also have the Saitek multi panel as well as the switch and radio panel and none of them seem to work properly with this aircraft.

It's very dissapointing as I love this aircraft and Ii hope to find a fix.

The hardware works great with the real air duke v2

Working perfect for me.

Try the following:

- Unplug USB cables

- delete the registration entries (Windows start > run > regedit)

- download SPAD driver and install (after deleting Saitek driver)

- plug in the USB cable

- in the Q400 make sure you set the radio tune options to your board computer and it should work

Hi, ok I have deleted the saitek drivers and installed the spad drivers.

The panels seem to work in a fashion, more than with the saitek drivers, A.P comes on the IAS light will stay on but it isn't controlling the airspeed none of the other buttons seem to activate anything in the cockpit.

I haven't tried the radio but i wasn't sure what you meant by n the Q400 make sure you set the radio tune options to your board computer.

I do feel that with some messing around I should be able to get more functionality.
