Not really a fan of a company that charges extra for a downloadable product honestly. I've experienced fees for permanent downloads, or a backup disk that is sent, but not a limited time.

They do not charge extra for a downloadable product. What they charge for is for it to be re-downloaded when the person that downloaded it in the first place could not be bothered to make a backup copy. I see nothing unreasonable in that.

I have a disk, with its own backup for all my hundreds of downloadable files, and never needed to download again a purchased file. Anyway, If a customer indentifies himself correctly with an Order #, a password and an e-mail account, I don't understand why he can not download the product file again. The file is there for new customers download, so no service or server space is occupied in order to redownload it.
