Night Environment - Alps Released!

Recommended Posts

Is this still in development or for sale.  I want to be one of the first to buy it!

To any na-sayers who might thing your products are too expensive, I say they are worth every penny as they truly transform an area at dusk and dawn.

we are getting to U.S. regions very soon

the goal is to stay connected with regions; instead of speedily rendering

there are a handful of regions we need to complete before we focus on U.S. region only

here’s little map to help visualize NE's current coverage

(Corsica Island and Denmark are marked by mistake; too lazy to edit; they will be added soon anyway ^_^ )

(Click image twice; first time it will open in a new window; second click pulls up full res image 7397x3610)

So Chris, it looks to me like the Alps product hasn't hit the market yet.  I went to the Aerosoft site, did a search on your products and didn't see the Alps.

you're right Flyer

NE Alps was just announced it will soon be released by Aeroaosft

http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?showtopic=83745

usually when Mathijs makes this announcement; it means...

AS received and tested the files and found them good for publishing

from there; they will start preparing the commercial distributed version

As soon as it hits "The Flight Sim" store, I will buy it, as that is the place I usually make most of my purchases.

Thank you Turbay

NE is is extremely modular and will work virtually under any system config

you will be able to turn down the volume in the event you want more FPS to go somewhere else

with MAX setting turned on; you can expect 250-350 VAS usage while flying with NE

the hit is very subjective to the specific machine specs; and scenery configuration

since we are predominantly flying at night with NE; many addons can be turned off to balance FPS usage (if needed)

it doesn’t matter what we do with FSX

we are still locked in the 4GB memory pool; and this still has to be managed carefully

with P3D moving to 64bit hopefully this concern will be a thing of the past

There is a demo you can evaluate with (you can find it on our site or on AS site)

Although the current demo is very old and contains outdated models and textures

It doesn’t reflect the many advances made with our lighting system since it was published

As soon as P3D v2.3 is out; the demo will be updated; and will include double installers for FSX and P3D
