LOL, those were the days Capt, 12 floppy disks to install FS, and I had a whopping 64KB ram.

Having just finished watching the first season of "Halt and Catch Fire" I just about fell off my chair laughing.

I think something anantech did showed that win7 has stronger dx9 performance than 8, about the same dx10 and win 8 has faster performance for dx11 (and probably for everything coming hence). I went from xp to OS X and then to win 8 a few years later so have no idea!
