Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, EVGA GeForce 3080 Ti, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU
Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays

LOL, those were the days Capt, 12 floppy disks to install FS, and I had a whopping 64KB ram.

Try using  a commodore 64 :P

I think something anantech did showed that win7 has stronger dx9 performance than 8, about the same dx10 and win 8 has faster performance for dx11 (and probably for everything coming hence). I went from xp to OS X and then to win 8 a few years later so have no idea!
