PMDG Time

Recommended Posts

Hey all, Robert said in a post yesterday he anticipated the release of the next service pack on 8/8 at a time in the US that I cannot remember. I was just wondering if anyone knows what city PMDG is based in in the US, so I could set my iPhone world clock to include that city so that in future I don't have to guess time differences, as I'm way over here in Australia. Anyone able to help?

I believe Robert is based in the Washington, DC area.

Which, with the summer time / Daylight Saving Time, brings it to GMT -4.

Alexandria, VA (it's on the registration documents on the wall behind the pilot in the 777).

...and yes, we're GMT-4 at the moment.

For Ryan, though, it's always GMT-7, because Arizona is stubborn*.

*It's more to do with the fact that the change would drastically change energy usage there because it's so hot in the summer time, but I take any excuse possible to give them a hard time over there.

Robert stated the release time zone as US Eastern Daylight Time.

People actually pay attention to that?

Someone on the beta team noticed it, actually.  Makes sense, though, since the task is to spot anything out of sorts.
