Wind Noise over Engine Noise

Hi Guys,

 

Not sure if this has come up before. I have the TSS 747GE engine soundpack and for me, climb/cruise is very unrealistic. Especially in cruise, it would be nice to hear mostly wind noise, almost cancelling out the "buzzsaw" engine noise. Anyone have any fixes to this?

Unfortunately, since you have an aftermarket sound pack, you open yourself up to issues that aren't supported here.

 

Moreover, aftermarket sound packs are usually recorded and created by people who tune the sound to what simmers expect and not what you'd actually hear up front.  I'm honestly not at all surprised it's behaving as you've described.  I'd look for a TSS forum to discuss it there.

One fix I can think of is to uninstall the TSS sound pack and use what came with PMDG.
