Can someone recommend me a pc build for fsx no more than $500. I don't want the best graphics but I still want good graphics and to be able to run the pmdg 737 with 30fps. What is the best $100 gpu for fsx?

Sorry to disappoint krstan, but that is completely not going to happen I'm afraid to say... :( You need to invest a lot more $$$

Are you in the US? Around some major metropolitan area? I see some powerful gaming systems being advertised on craigslist, some of them appear to be very good deals and you can always negotiate for better price.

This is true, and when you start getting into high end rigs, your video card can eat that $500.

Like everything else, there is good and bad on craigslist. I wouldn't buy anything I couldn't thoroughly test first.

krstan, I think most guys will agree, that while previous versions of FS could have been run on pretty mediocre rigs, with FSX, it's a completely different story, a different ball game all together. Even the beefiest of rigs still struggle in some scenarios. A lot of it will depend upon an individual's degree of acceptance with regards quality and smoothness, or at what point 'good enough' is good enough. However, I would really recommend you look very carefully at investing in hardware and make sure your money is wisely spent on the very best components and spend the most you can afford. It will be a good investment in the end.
