SweetFx not working with v2.3

Recommended Posts

Hi,

SweetFX is not working here with V2.3. It starts activated but as soon as i open the P3D menu bar SweetFX bugs out and stops working. Pressing Scroll Lock does nothing.

Anyone else having this problem?

Cheers

Did you guys made a full reinstall or used the patch? I used the patch and mine doesn't work.

I did the patch, so SweetFX was already in my Prepar3d folder since v2.2.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies, i managed to solve the problem by uninstalling windows update KB2670838. Had it installed since April or May, don't know why it didn't have a problem with version 2.2. Go figure.

Regards.

Can anyone with sweet fx post a screenshot or two to show the difference between the standard 2.3 and a SweetFx one? Really interested to see if it can make sunlight on terrain look more "sunny" (although I reckon 2.3 has gone and done this much better than 2.2) cheers!

Great to hear that.  Too bad you cannot change the title of your topic as it might mislead people to think that SweetFX does not work in 2.3.

I am still having the issue, as soon as I go to the menu bar, it stops working (I don't have the KB mentioned above installed). Am I the only one running into this issue? For me, SweetFX is not working with 2.3

John, are you sure you don't have it installed? It doesn't show on the "Uninstall programs" window unless you press "View installed updates".
