Nvidia 340.52 Driver Crashing P3D 2.3

Featured Replies

I installed the Nvidia 340.52 driver and shortly thereafter upgraded to P3D 2.3 after a few minutes of running P3D, the screen goes black and I get a windows based message that the NVidia 340.52 Driver has crashed and windows is attempting to fix the problem.  This has happened each time on three attempts.  Is anyone having a similar problem?  Could it be related to tesselization?  My next option is to downgrade the video driver to the last good Nvidia driver.

It is known issue that the 340.52 drivers do not work. Roll back to 337. It will be fied in the next driver release according to nvidia.

BTW, a simple search of these or the LM forums for 340.52 drivers would have given you the information.

Using the search function would have been the solution. Driver 337.88 is recommended.
