2.3 clean install stuck at about 85%

Hi all,

 

As I didn't have any custom stuff installed (except ASN) I decided to go for the full install rather than the patch. Not sure that was such a good idea...

 

After removing 2.2 and the associated content in the LM folders (but not the folders themselves), I got an error after nearly the full installation ran. I realized I hadn't restarted, so I did.

 

Next installation is currently hanging at about 85%. I don't know where it is in the process as there is no progress feedback other than a progress bar in the installer.

 

Any suggestions?

 

If I don't find anything that works, I guess next try will be to remove LM folders completely before reinstall.

Disregard -just a very long period without the progress bar moving... eventually it finished and seems OK.

Seems to be running just fine, although a little bit of a pain in the rear to reassign all my button stuff!

I read quite a few more "issues" threads than I would have liked, and I've got no add-ons (well... just Active Sky Next, but that's not up to speed yet), and decent internet speed... wasn't a big deal. Would rather have done that than deal with potential troubleshooting.
