I hate all of the adware, it messes with my Chrome setup, and they have sneaky dialogs if you try to uninstall. One I found yesterday was "Are you sure you wish to uninstall ---?" the two options were "No" and "Ok." Clicking Ok would install further adware. I really hate websites that offer various downloads, they seem to have far too many ads on them that all say "Download," it takes a while to figure out which is which!

Honestly, I should think "common sense" would warn someone that "there is no such thing as a free lunch!"

 

No one could possibly afford to run a "free hosting site" solely out of a sense of largesse. That is precisely why I don't mind paying ImageShack $12/year for image hosting with absolutely zero advertising or malware magnets... :Whistle:

Imgur seems to make their combination of free/paid work well including an excellent free service free of such nuisances.

I have been seeing this "Java" thing all summer long at many sites. Including my ISP web mail page. My security blocks it instantly.
