I want more autogen buidlings, but not more trees

What should I sett in fsx.cfg to get max buildings, but not have more trees then what I get from having my slider at normal?

There is these two tweaks that goes inside the cfg file of fsx, but im not really sure if it really does work. maybe someone experienced will confirm it.

If when your autogen slider is at normal,,your FPS would not be affected negatively,reducing the trees would cause more empty deserted areas (terrain).I would consider that aspect.

Yes, they work. Both lines will have to be added to the fsx.cfg file because they are not in the default file. The default values are 4500 for trees and 3000 for buildings. More info can be found here  http://forums1.avsim.net/topic/279576-qestion-re-holgers-autogen-tweak/  .

Useful info. I've been flying in P3D recently and enjoy being able to ramp up the number of autogen buildings without adding more trees. Will try this tonight in my FSX cfg thanks
