Razbam Harrier Nozzle Control

Recommended Posts

What's the best way to control the nozzles from vertical to horizontal flight without having to look in the cockpit ? I tried it and it's very hard to do when you take your eyes from outside to inside and still maintain control. Thanks

IIRC, the nozzle control in that aircraft is associated with the FSX prop pitch axis. I've got a control assigned on my HOTAS for prop pitch which takes care of the Harrier nozzles quite nicely.

keep in mind that Razbam has a very odd way of modeling the forward to hover transition.. It's very difficult due to the unrealistic uncommanded pitch up at about 80 kts transitioning from forward to hover. Anyways.. as mentioned earlier, the prop pitch axis is the axis you're looking for and can easily be set up as an axis on your throttle quadrant.
