Holding Logic?

I own both the NGX and the 777. I have not been able to get either of them to do a correct holding, unless it is a holding directly on the route same inbound course etc.

 

Whenever the holding requires a teardrop/offset or parallel entry, the plane seems to do whatever it want. 

I believe in the real plane that the entry to the holding is also drawn on the ND (from FCOM) which is not the case in either 777 or NGX.

 

I love both products, but I would like a comment of someone who knows wether it is a limitation of FSX or PMDG was not able of getting it done realistically?

 

As I said, I LOVE both products, but whenever I do a holding I feel like something is missing/not correct.

Both our reality world and simulation world are differently, a very complcated iissue like holding pattern cannot be realized one hundred percent in a simulator,i am not sure,whether in the real aviation that can be performed 100 percent too
