P3D V2.3 Amazing

Recommended Posts

Hi there ,

Great  Screenshots , just curios to know is Night Environment already compatible with Prepar3d 2.3 already ,

Best Regards

Not sure as this program brings my computer to its knees so I do not use it at all

which aircraft is that?  I'm looking for a small business jet that runs well in P3D v2

This is the Carenado Phenom 100 and it works - I have had great success following flight plans and landing - few tricks to know - if you get it - let me know if you need some help - its actually very good on FPS also at least on my system

AXE and CS777 work great in P3D

I'll back that up if I can figure out how to post pics again.  Anyone help me?

You can try tinypic.com - if it asks you to install java dont dismiss it and you will be good to go

Anyone doubting P3D V2.3 well look no further - it is amazing - everything about it is incredible from the HDR to the FPS - SMOOTH AS SILK - ASN Beta used in this shot and so far is stunning also REX4 latest and global - vector not installed yet

Richard, NE was not compatible with P3D up to v2.3

in v2.3 its a whole new ball game; performance are very stable

our new NE v1.1 releases will include high performing models and textures we've recently devolped

here's a little clip of some testing done for us under beta2 release, curtsey of Rob Ainscough

(this isn’t a comparison between NE and ORBX, ORBX was pre-installed on the testing box and had to remain as is; we're testing NE's stability under P3D there)

this is NE California out the box; and placed at the top with no changes made

NE v1.1 under P3D v2.3 RC2 (best viewed full screen at 1440p)

test flight was at SF/BayArea (which is notorious for really low frame rates regardless of add-on)

Thank you Richard; i had no idea you're beta tester for P3D

hopefully we won’t need to go through this again

NE is extremely modular; we have advance user guide we provide

which will guide you further sight into NE's architecture and allow you to tweak it to your specific needs

you should give NE try in P3D v2.3; I believe you will be pleasantly surprised now

its such an amazing platform; i don’t want turn on my FSX anymore

they just need to give the night little more attention;

i found that dusk -> night and Night -> Dawn blending times are way off

for some reason in P3D the blend starts an hour later than FSX;

which takes out sunset colors from dusk blending

Chris I am not a beta tester for P3D - Rob is one of the few that have that honor - I was referring to NE :) I will try again in V 2.3 as you wish  :)

Thank you Richard
Rob was more than accommodating to say the least; he did a wonderful test runs with NE
i was told Levels 1-2 performed very well with the loaded software lineup (FPS top left corner)

the new updates/installers should be ready any day now
(any new NE release already comes with double installer FSX&P3D)
make sure your region is updated to v1.1 before you give it go
don’t install FSX files into P3D; P3D has dedicated models!

sorry for the little hijack :blush:
