LCD edges behind frame

Recommended Posts

Not a major problem, but I noticed that with the GNS in the VC panel, the left and underside of the LCD fall behind the frame of the front plate and the upper and right side show a white border.

In other words, the LCD is not correctly centered in it's frame.

The pop-up GNS doesnt have this problem, it's only the one in VC panel.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

Cheers!

I had the same problems with the Carenado Malibu 530 and 430 virtual cockpit.

After many attempts the screen is in the right place, but on the left side the

'positions' of the different buttons, dials were moved relative to the visible carenado buttons

530 Start               {A bit to LEFT of start button}

V/C Switch Button {Way to left AND Tiny spot to find}

etc

Mindstar gauges are very difficult (read impossible) to get right in the more recent Carenado aircraft. They fit nicely in older models like the Caravan and C337. This is Carenado's problem to fix in that they have to be the ones to make their VC'S compatible. Unfortunately they have displayed zero interest in doing that. Believe me, I have emailed them 3 separate times and got only one short response, in which they said they are not interested.

And that's what makes Carenado the bush league of aircraft developers. It is what it is.

Carenado's gauges are not accurate in sizing. There is nothing we can do about that.
