Don't know if this helps you or not but the MAAM DC3 has an option to allow just that. Don't know what it does to the aircraft.cfg to enable it, but I use. I never could the differential braking down pat...billg

A castoring tail wheel will be set to 180, change that to 30-45 degrees for a steering effect. Some of the frustration with taxiing aircraft that use a conventional landing gear in FS9 is the result of an incorrect setting in the airfile. If you have an airfile editor like AirEd or AAM, you can set Cn_dt Yaw Moment-Thrust to provide a steering effect on the rudder from prop wash. Open Rec 1101 and increase the value of Cn_dt Yaw Moment-Thrust. Values from 0.01-0.09 are a good starting place depending on the aircraft. You

The trick is to remember that it's like a casting wheel on a shopping cart. It takes a lot of fine brake adjustments to keep going straight and you have to use a lot of break in the opposite direction of the turn to counter the turn, if you want it to go straight again.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have. The thing to remember is that not all conventional gear planes castor, the DC-3 castors but the J-3 does not. The J-3's tail-wheel is directly linked to the rudder, unfortunately, the default one seems to act like a castoring wheel.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have.
