GTN 750 Panel

Recommended Posts

For anyone who may be interested in using Flight1's GTN 750 in the Phenom 100 here is my custom panel with Flight1's GTN 750. The 750 fits nice into the MFD bezel with a click spot on the left side of the bezel for a 2D popup window. The Instrument reflections should  be off to use the 750 in the VC.

Wow, that looks really nice in there. Haven't got the Phenom, but I have got the 750. It's an awesome GPS unit, and goes great in that cockpit. Looks like you have full functionality in those pictures too. Nice one. I wonder if that could be done in other aircraft with that huge screen in there.

Hi.

How to include information on engines on PFD?

Hello DayWalker, to have the Engine Instruments displayed on your PFD you will need to press the Red button on the audio panel to the left of the PFD. The tool tip says "Switch Reversionary" when you hover you mouse over it.

Hope this helps.

I don't see why not. If you turn of instrument reflections you can use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out to display the airport taxi ways.

I have this setup in my Phenom.  Problem that I am having is that the PFD does not show either LOC and GS reading.  GTN750 has the ILS frequency and the LOC is selected on the unit.  I see that the LOC functionality is showing on the GTN750.

Thanks,

John

Do you still get weather radar on one of the other panels then?

I would like to see this done with all the g1000 airplanes. Non-updateable Navs make them worthless to me.

I just bought it today and installed it.  Beautiful!  Then I did the 750 mod, awesome.  But does your APR mode work?  Mine seems to ignore the GTN and it shows a gray LOC and GS but it never captures.

Otherwise it's beautiful!  Gosh, I wish I could buy one of these in real life!

Thanks Carenado, this makes four of your planes I now have.

Very happy customer.

Best regards.
