NGX SDK failure to initialize P3d v2.3

Recommended Posts

P3d V2.3 and Fs2Crew v. 2.3E, SP1C installed using EMT.

Any ideas how to get the SDK to initialize? I've tried resetting flight and aslo SDK broadcast is set to on?

Hi Mas,

I don't know what EMT is, but please read this page:

http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=pmdg_737_ngx4

You're probably using saved flight flights.  Don't use them.

The "Trike" should be the initial aircraft that loads in the FSX free flight screen.

Best,

Hi Byork.

EMT= Estonian Migration Tool.

Not using saved flights though, and I've tried loading the default flight in P3D (the trike doesn't exist, so it's the F22), shifting to 2D panel, and then selecting the NGX to have it start up in 2D as well.

Anyways, I think that the problem is beyond your control really, I just thought that some other users maybe had experienced the same issue a found a solution.

The NGX is not supported in P3D, and that's probably the main reason why the SDK is not working as it should.

Thx for your support anyways ;)

He he - ok Byork - wilco! I'm in touch with the devs at EMT to see if they can do anything. Will report back here!

Ok, problem solved by enabling virtual FSX, then re-installing SP1C, and thereafter running the FS2Crew config (still virtual FSX enabled).

Thx again;)

EMT creates a state of virtual fsx to facilitate the install of FSX add-ons... Don't know the inner workings of it though ;-)
