FMC update

Just bought the PMDG 777-200 and 300 expansion pack last week . And I have been getting some Nav data out of date on the FMC. Do I need to update it and how?

You don't HAVE to update it, but its not a bad idea to keep it up to date. I use navigraph FMS data manager. Its cost is not much.

The FMC Data manager is pretty cool. You can update all your add on.. but no need to update all the time.. perhaps once every 3 or 4 months is usually good enough (for me at least)
