AI Aircraft question

Recommended Posts

Hi, I use Project AI for the planes that Aardvark has not created yet. Is FSPainters aircraft just as good and frame rate easy like Aardvarks? Thanks,Bill

IMO, yes. Others may have a different view, but yea, I think it's as good.

No I don't think so, but FSP are definitely a little more framerate friendly than PAI.Neither look anywhere near as good (and as accurate) as AIA though. There's other AI designers out there that you could use to replace some of the other PAI & FSP planes.I don't use the others so just do some quick searches.Josh :)

Many of the PAI models are infact "re-badged" FSP models.Dan.

>Many of the PAI models are infact "re-badged" FSP models.>>Dan.Only a couple of Airbus widebodies, the Dash8, Saab340 and a couple of MD's are rebadged FSP.If you like quality and detail in your AI, go for Aardvark or Evolve first and then FSP. Just compare the Aardvark 747's to the PAI ones.PAI has become outdated as other AI modellers have left them in the slow lane.

IMHO, FSPainter's aircraft are, at times, better to look at than Aardvark's or PAI's.One feature FSP's aircraft have over the others is reverse thrust deployment, which you can watch nicely when they land.I haven't noticed frame rate issues with FSP's aircraft either.I use all of FSP's aircraft, including the B744, DC-10MD-11. The MD80 is, I think, the best looker of its type available. But really, pick the ones that please your eye and keep your computer happy. I've found that with a diverse mix of PAI (nice turbo-props and ERJs), FSPainter (Airbus, MD80 and CRJ-200), and Aardvark (Boeing and DC series) you can have a teeming AI experience at any airport your heart desires.RegardsRick (KMKE bountiful sunshine and winds 330)
