Is there a config file entry to turn off the auto-tuning of the radios when using ATC?I want to practice copying and tuning them myself.DM

Instead of pressing "1" when the option to tune the next controller comes up you just tune the radio manually. When the correct freq is tuned the option changes to "Contact...". That

As simple as that, thanks. I had the window popup off, but I did not know if you changed the radio it would switch the options. I wish you could acknowlege and tune the radio yourself. I guess I can fly on VATSIM when I want that realism. But using your method meets my need of practicing ATC copy and radio tuning.DM

VoxATC adds a great deal of realism. No autotuning of radios and instead of pressing keys the speech recognition handles ATC communications with great realism. Check out the free 30 day demo that allows you to fly between three US airports with any of your aicraft in any weather, and IFR or VFR flight plans. You can find it here: www.voxatc.com and you can visit the unofficial forum here at Avsim.Zane
