i apologize for saying you need ASN my mistake, for the ones that don't have pfpx you have been missing out for along time, i missed out until i bought it back in march, it makes configuring pmdg, aerosoft and many others.

Waste of time, really.

Wing flex on the CS 777 is outstanding, very realistic IMHO ... something I think PMDG should take note on their 777.  All wings flex on commercial aircraft.  Perhaps it should be made an option if it's a significant performance consumer, but I like to see the effect, certainly not a waste of time.

Cheers, Rob.

The A320 has minimum flex. Boeing aircraft have a lot of flex. watch any video and you will see they flex at pushback. Its also by design. As for CS teaching PMDG anything, that made me lol

Well CS is here an now, where's PMDG?  So yes, there is obviously something to be learned here?

Have you tried the CS 777 for P3D?  Sure, it's not as good as the PMDG 777 but it's not that far away in feature for feature ... certainly not 2X-3X the cost difference away ;)

Suppose to be out tomorrow according to  Aerosoft, released in the afternoon French Timezone,

Looking forward to this even if I just started using my Airbus Extended.

Yep count me in.

I have PFPX, but I don't use it much ... it seems focused on Commercial flights only and there is no way filter airports out by those I own.  Also it's aircraft database seems very limited.  I prefer FS Commander 9.5 as it's much more "open" to building a flight plan and has SIDS, STARS, TRANSITION and includes more aircraft.  PFPX seems to be more a VA tool.

Perhaps I just haven't figured out how to get the best out of PFPX, but I was a little disappointed with it.

Cheers, Rob.

I find the online dispatch program SimBrief to satisfy 95% of my flight planning requirements. Check it out. You cant beat free!

I'm seeking feedback on the (new) Aerosoft Airbus package(s) in the world of P3Dv2... performance, functionality, etc. etc. I haven't invested in the iFly 737 yet, and I'm getting tired of waiting for PMDG, so perhaps this series will quench my thirst for a mid-range airliner in P3D.

My last Airbus experience was with the PSS series back a few generations ago. I enjoyed it thoroughly, so I'm curious what a more modern take on the planes can provide!

Share your thoughts!

I think I'll wait for FSLabs.

Well, happy waiting, it will be released like Level-D 757 and NLS A380!

Offtopic, but I will second this... Just did a fllght from EHAM to VHHH in the CS 777 in P3D V2.3, no problems. It's perfectly fine for normal operations and certainly worth the price if you want a tube in P3D.

Ontopic about the Airbus, seriously annoying that you can't buy the discounted versions yet... How hard is it to set this up BEFORE you release the product. "Let's annoy our long time customers by making them wait longer". That kind of stuff ###### me off, even if it is just two days.

They did explain to the public why the wait. Go read on their forums. It will take about 2 seconds to figure out it is their system they use to release and make payments, and not done to upset you personally.

Good things come to those who wait. And at the very least, it is a simulation, and not a organ donation you are being forced to wait for.

That, I like.

People really should put things into perspective.
