I format and do a clean install of everything on my computer 1-2 times a year and I've always just reinstalled all of my PMDG planes with no problems.

Uninstall the NGX to reset the licence, before you format your old computer. Then just reinstall on the new one. Nothing spectacular.

 

Unless you want to retain your liveries and service based failures. You then would have to make back-ups of your aircraft.cfg, the livery folders and such.

I'm doing the same and got a license issue when trying to install the 737.

I did not uninstall it on the old computer.

 

Is that causing it?

Eric, it would be advisable to use your full name for a topic such as this.

 

I recommend you open a trouble ticket with PMDG Support and provide your Order Id, they will fix your license issue for you.

I did open a ticket earlier, but kept looking for an answer.... desperate to try the birds on a new machine.
