Shadows NGX and T7

Hello,

 

I have read many topics on "how do I get the VC shadows working", including the topics in this forum.

 

I cannot get this right for the NGX and T7.   :(

 

In one topic in the DX10 Scenery Fixer forum the final answer is "It works...".  :unsure:  That is really helping out ! Instead of posting the solution ...

 

Could someone please post a little guide on how to get the VC shadows using the fixer toolbox ?

 

I know we have to use the panel interior.mdl in the toolbox but all I have is the VC.mdl.

 

Would make my day ... and of many others I suppose.

In the toolbox, select the PMDG_777_VC mdl for the 777. For the NGX, forget it, the cockpit walls are designed in such away that shadows will never work.

For the shadows in the T7, make sure you check settings in the fixer and adjust to your liking.

 Are you saying that VC shadows wont work on the NGX even in P3Dv2 ?

Yes shadows only works with the T7.Use the toolbox to enable as described above and remember to tick shadows in FSX aircraft settings as well.
