'possible' new A2A projects - PA-44 and AT-6

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, if you have been to A2A's main page, they have been taking measurements of the PA-44 and AT-6.  Whether or not these planes actually become projects or not, time will tell, but if they are done, they should be great releases.  The PA-44 makes a lot of since the flight training market is a big market for A2A.  I remember how much multi training cost when I did it, I would have loved a fully accusimmed Seminole then to help me with procedures and such.  That and renting a Seminole for the mult engine R&D work has to be a bit cheaper than a Baron or Seneca lol.

The AT-6 is also a great project, a perfect vintage trainer to fit in between the J-3 Cub and the Warbirds.

Oh well, should be exciting to see if these take shape or not.

PA-44 would be perfect for some X-country trips over America with OpenLC from ORBX

PA-44....Yawn....its too slow for a twin. I'd rather see an Bonanza or better yet a Navajo or even better yet a C-45/Beech 18. I'd buy the T-6 though.

lol actually the PA-44 cruise around 160kts, which is about the same as a Piper Comanche 250.   I believe the Bonanza is in the works already and quite possibly the 'next' release.  The PA-44/AT-6, if done, would likely a few years out still.

Cheers

I just wish they would do another airliner. I'm dying for an A2A Constellation, but I guess there just isn't enough of a market for it. Maybe they could release a COTS expansion pack for the eventual PMDG DC-6 instead....

I'd love to see a T-6 with the A2A touch, as in addition to the Mustang, I flew on 2 of them. Actually a SNJ-5 and Harvard. The old Alphasim model, is pretty good, but an A2A model will be over the top!!!

Thanks

Seriously why doesn't A2A do a Mooney?  I can't tell you how badly a good Mooney rendition is needed in the flightsim world.  A good Bravo or Ovation with steam gauges would be a huge hit.

Hmm I didn't know they cruised that fast. The only piper twin I've flown in RL is the Navajo.
