PMDG 777 Autobreak disarms immediately at touchdown

Recommended Posts

Hi, search the forum about the auto break issue , reinstall the FSUIPC and delete FSUIPC.ini dont work for me.

Even perform an ILS autoland , I didn't touch a button or mouse. The autobrake disarms immediately at touchdown.

Please advise.

Hi,

Do you any device on which a axis is set up for the manual brakes?

The autobrakes normally desarm either if normal braking is applied or if thrust levers are pushed forward out of idle.

So any signal receive from throttle or pedal could cause the autobrake to disarm even if you don't touch nothing.

Yes agree with Romain.

Something is performing a manual braking action;  as that is what causes the autobrakes to disarm.

Maybe a noisy potentiometer on your pedals?  (if you use pedals).

Maybe try increasing the null zones on your axis for your brakes.

Do you have rudder pedals?

Thank you for all reply, just a keyboard and mouse. No axis setup for brake or thrust level.

Still figuring out

Are you using the mouse as a joystick?  I'm willing to bet that doing that will cause all kinds of weird issues here and there.  For what it's worth, joysticks are as cheap as $15 in most places.  Heck, I just donated two X-45s to Goodwill last week.  I'm sure you can find one there.

You're much better off going that route.

If you are using the mouse as joystick, as Kyle mentioned, try a full ILS autoland with the mouse not engaged and see what happens.
