KLM's Lost & Found service

Recommended Posts

I loved the Beagles that we owned.  Even during hot summer nights they would want to get under the covers.  Of course after an hour they would come out panting from under sheet and lay on the bed watching the door.  It seemed they have a built in instinct to cover themselves up at night perhaps in hay in a barn.

Now if I could only get my coat back from that Delta flight a few years ago, which was stolen when we were told we could leave items on the plane during a short stop.

How utterly charming! It's not only a very useful and practical service, but a really brilliant "public relations" solution! :Applause:

Unfortunately, it is not real.  It was done as part of a commercial.

Afraid so.  According to DDB & Tribal Worldwide, the agency responsible for the ad, the dog is a hired actor.

After arriving back in Dublin from Newark a few years ago, I realised when I got to the long-term car park that I'd lost my car keys. I got on the bus back to the terminal with fingers and toes crossed, headed for the Continental desk and lo and behold, they had them. They didn't need a dog.

Thanks Ned. Whether real or just a promotional video it was still really cute.

When I was a kid I had a part Beagle part Fox Terrier named Peanut. My father called him Under Dog. Peanut was always under something. Feet, bed covers, the bed, the table. When I took him out in the winter he was even happy under the snow.

Regards to all,

Well, being Dutch, I knew it was a commercial. Like you said, it doesn't take away from the cuteness. :)
