P3d with Pro Atc-x and Global weather problems

Recommended Posts

I installed P3d 2.3 and have some problems:

- flying with Pro Atc-x, when I receive an approach to land, Pro Atc moving map shows the change, but P3d map (and GPS screen) don't recognize it. Pro- Atc continues  vectorizing me but P3d seems to have lost  the change in the flight plan.

- Global weather doesn't load at all in oen P3d and say it is closed.

I have the newest FSUIPC 4.936c installed and active in P3d. BTW, this FSUIPC is also present in FSX that works fine with both Pro Atc and Global Weather

Weird: in CCleaner it shows with 2.01 Gb size, when it has over 39 Gb.

Could it be some registry issue?

Thanks

Walter

I don't think many people use pro ATC/x: I considered getting it, but the forums suggest that it has quite a few bugs, and much more seriously, a significant lack of updates/communication from the developer. It's a shame, as there are not many ATC addons out there.

I think the chances of finding someone who a) uses both pro ATC/x and P3Dv2, b ) had the same issue as you, and c ) was able to fix it, are slim. But you never know.

I binned it after waiting, waiting and waiting for the promised update. A shame, because it could be a goldmine for the developer if properly implemented.

Well as it happens!.... ^_^

I use ProATC and Opus, can't comment on Global Weather as I don't use it. I can confirm however that ProAtc works perfectly in P3D, (As does Opus), in fact I would go as far to say it actually works better in P3D maybe because there is less CPU load. You should also check out the ProATC forum, there is a new version due to be released very soon.

Just had to install the P3D SDK, because simconnect seemed to be missing. This could be your problem vis a vis the global weather not connecting.
