Yea, search the library for "Autostarx". It increases the star field, adds galaxies, brighter planets, etc. It's an older mod (not mine btw), and you can use the latest star data from NASA. Corrects planet alignments, etc. In the above shot, the Andromeda galaxy is to the left, a lunar eclips (earth blocks sun to moon, causing blood red moon), and a comet wising by. It's not real user friendly... if you dload it, you should follow the instructions to the letter... but the night sky will be correct(er) [FSX has a pretty good star field that is pretty correct anyway], with the latest star field, and it's a run once and your done application.

Sounds good but what is hawkdsl then? A variation for daytime? I appreciate the autostarx but I am struggling to understand what is hawkdsl and how can I use it.

LOL.. I've been told I'm easy to program!  HawkDsl is short for Hawk Diesel. Allot of times, people think Dsl is the connection I have. It's a nick name given to me years ago, and resembles my real name. Ok.. More Shots:
