Thanks.  I'll take a look.  I'm not having much luck with some of my approaches.  But I haven't completely finished working the ideas.  If this works maybe I can use it for a model for p3d work.  Still looking at d3d injection.

I will need these files as well

configSet1=C:\\Users\\G. Salden\\My Documents\\Immersive Display PRO\\config\\P3D.dat
configSet2=C:\\Users\\G. Salden\\My Documents\\Immersive Display PRO\\config\\config2.dat
configSet3=C:\\Users\\G. Salden\\My Documents\\Immersive Display PRO\\config\\config3.dat
configSet4=C:\\Users\\G. Salden\\My Documents\\Immersive Display PRO\\config\\config4.dat

FYI, I am taking that time off that I mentioned.  It's just going to take me a little bit of time to tie up ends.  And another bit of time to chew away at DirectX and get that under my belt.   I have put in the ability to change FOV in the view and shader, but it's not clean yet.  I've also done a bit towards scenery.cfg management, but again, kinda messy, not ready for prime time.  I'll be taking a bite at it every day, but it may take some time before I have something.  I'll put up what I have when it's not too messy though.

You would think they would have the math for our oh so common problem worked out in Idp too.

P3D.dat is in the config folder from my upload.

There are no config 2-4.dat files in my Immersive Display PRO folder....

Perhaps while I tried the 1 month tral and then it stopped working and I uninstalled ID Pro.

Just install the trial version and copy my files into the MyDocuments / Immersive Display PRO folder.

Hi Gerard -

Thanks again. I loaded the .config file and see that this has potential. It didn't quite match my resolution for warping but  your image will be helpful in trying to get this to work.

@Daniel,

As I remember it my config uses around 27 vertical lines and 5 horizonral lines.

The more you use the better it will look.

Mine has not enough so at the sides you will see the transition from one cell to the other.

Immersive Display Pro has an auto feature hen using 3 curved screens , which calculates many cells but planar screens need to be corrected manually.

You probably need more than 42 vertical lines and 9 horizontal lines to make it look good.

The bigger your screens , the easier to do as you can see what you are doing.

Btw : my resolution is 5920x1080

@Denali

There is also an extra program called Immersive Designer Pro. That might create data that can help you.

Notice the Denali Dropbox links are dead, any chance I can get the latest version to give it a go?

Thanks in advance

Hello to all, I've been following this thread since it startet and I am a bit disappointed that nothing new comes up in the last time. As, with my 3 monitor setup, this distortion is really bothering I would love to find a solution. Denalis fix is not available for download anymore.

Can someone of you tell me if the peripheral distortion is the sane when you use a "Matrox TripleHead 2 Go"? Right now I have an AMD 295x2 card an use AMD Eyefinity. I would even invest in more hardware if that solves the problem.

Thank you guys in advance.

The Distortion is the same with all when using 1 wide view.The only 'solution' there currently is , is using extra undocked views.

However , that will cut your framerate by 50-70%....

Denali is working on it. He has a solution which already looks great, but it need some knowladge. He is a perfectionist and wants it to be flawless for everyone.

I do not know how long it will take.

Hi Gerald,

Thank you for your reply. As much as I love a view without peripheral distortion I love the rest of my framerate left. :wink:

The screenshot you posted doesn't  look bad indeed.  Is there a chance for me to test the actual fix on my system?

The screenshot is from a beta, but shows you what Denali is capable of.

If there is more info Denali will let us know...

Patiently waiting for Denali's patch/program/hack....I have one projector right now, but planning to project to about ~120 degrees. The program would be very helpful without having to resort to two computers + edge blend.

FYI - Immersive Display Pro works with one projector fine.
